"Making a living online" is a promise that is offered to millions of people. The internet is supposed to be the ideal way that anyone can start their own business with no capital, no experience and few skills. Seems great, doesn't it. How many times have you seen promises such as these:

It isn't easy. It does take skill and knowledge. It isn't quick and instant.

Remember the definition of a scam? "If it seems too good to be true, it probably is."

Now internet marketing isn't a scam. And most internet marketers aren't scammers. The problem is that, when selling their dreams to you, they have to assume that you have a certain set of skills. And you probably don't have them.

The result is that many "newbies" (people new to internet marketing and relatively inexperienced) soon get frustrated. So they try one thing after another, hoping that the next "great idea" is the one that's going to make them rich - or at least 'comfortable'! - very soon.

Over the past ten years, I've worked with hundreds (if not thousands) of small businesses and individuals, helping them to improve their online business efforts.

And, time and again, I've realised that what I've assumed to be "common knowledge" has been far from true. Here's a few examples - just click in the boxes to 'tick' if they apply to you..

I could continue for ever! These are just some of the many questions I've been asked over the years.

So how many boxes did you 'tick'? If it was more than a couple, then you've got a lot to learn about internet marketing. You've got a lot of learning to do!

So, how can I help you? Let me give you a bit of background to why you are looking at this page..

Late in 2005, I launched my "Newbies Starter Kit" - a set of tools and resources which enabled anyone rapidly to set up websites to start earning money for them.

It was hugely successful. My "newbies" wrote me glowing (and unsolicited) testimonials such as:

.. and many, many more. Blush, blush! But I made big problems for myself. I promised a one-to-one support service to owners of my Newbies Starter Kit.

I had assumed too much knowledge by owners of my "Kit" about what I considered to be "basic stuff"! Consequently, I found myself answering many questions about topics fundamental to getting started in internet marketing. I've give some examples of these in the "tick boxes" section above.

It was then that I realised the need for some detailed training in the basics of internet marketing. And that is why I decided to establish...

The Newbies School of Internet Marketing

The School has been designed to help you to learn at your own speed, in your own time.

The Core Curriculum of the School is based around more than 60 videos, covering all the topics you will need to learn to succeed as an internet marketer.

However, as you will see below, there is a lot more to the School than these videos.

I will normally only post testimonials from real Pupils at the School. But this completely unsolicited testimonial came from the highly-respected internet marketer, John Delavera, within hours of me asking him to take a look at the School..

It consists of over 60 "how to" videos, presented by four tutors, and grouped into the following 11 Courses:

The videos range in length from just a couple of minutes to over 20 minutes. In total, there's over 7 hours of video tuition - and more videos are planned for the future.

You don't need to follow any particular course all the way through. From the "School Curriculum" screen, you can select any particular video you want to watch.

Detailed Comments
Each video is accompanied by my own detailed comments, giving further advice from my own practical experience.

These comments supplement the tutor's remarks, and I cross-reference them to other appropriate videos in the Core Curriculum.

In my comments, I also give links to all the websites referred to in the video, and to other appropriate websites.

In addition, I single out useful products from the School's Download Library (see below), which supplement the content in the videos.

This growing resource is designed to provide further background reading to the videos, as well as giving direct download access to useful software.

The Library has been carefully stocked to reflect the Core Curriculum, and is organised under the same Course headings.

I could easily have tripled the content of the Library, but my intention is that Pupils stay focused on acquiring the key skills to become proficient in internet marketing.

Also organised in the same 11 Course categories, the Resources Library is a carefully selected collection of links to other useful online resources.

These include other online tutorials, links to free software, access to free online web services and other useful websites.

I have selected these resources on the basis of their quality and relevance to the Core Curriculum.

I have tried, where possible, to link to free resources. However, inevitably some of the products are paid-for products. I endeavour to give my impartial opinion on such products, based, where possible on my personal experience with them.

Potentially, this could be the most helpful and valuable part of the School for you.

Because, as well as an expanding "Frequently Asked Questions" section, this is where you can get direct, one-to-one personal help from me.

The School has a dedicated Help Desk. Using this support system, you will be able to ask me any questions about your own problems and opportunities.

Using a "Help Desk" such as this means that there are no problems with emails getting blocked, lost or misfiled

It is because of this resource offered by my School that I am having to restrict the number of Pupils that can be admitted to the School. If I don't do that, I would find it difficult to give individual attention to Pupils.

Although there is no compulsion to take the Examination, you will be encouraged to do so because this will help you in the learning process.

If you achieve a Pass or a Distinction, you will receive a personal Diploma from the School, which you can print out - and frame if you wish.

In addition, Pupils who achieve a Pass or a Distinction will, if they wish, have their name and a link to any website they own, placed on the School's "Graduates Roll", where other Pupils can see their achievement.

These will take place in the School's state-of-the-art online audio-visual Online Conference Room.

You will have the opportunity to discuss issues in real time with myself and with other Pupils attending the conference.

No long-distance telephone calls are involved. All that you will need is a microphone, headphones or speakers, and an internet connection.

I will regularly be updating the materials - new videos, new downloads, new resources. I'll be drawing from my own resources, and also responding to feedback from Pupils.

But, apart from materials you download from the School's Download Library, all the new materials will be delivered to you without any effort on your part.

Just one tiny download initially will give you full access to all of the School's resources and training materials.

This software is not only more convenient for you, but it also means that I can add new material to the School remotely - and your software will automatically pick this up each time you open it.

The "School News" section on the opening screen will immediately update you on any new material which has been added, as well as giving you other School News, such as details of any up-coming Online Conferences.

Pupils will also receive regular School Newsletters from me. These will not be trying to sell you stuff! The sole purpose of the Newsletter is to inform and educate. Signing up for the School Newsletter is optional - but encouraged.

The School is so new that there are only a few testimonials (see above) from people whom I let into the School early. As I receive more, I will post them here.

What I am not going to do is line up a load of internet marketing "gurus" to tell you how wonderful the School is! I will only post testimonials from genuine Pupils at the School - with the exception of the unsolicited testimonial I received from the highly respected marketer, John Delavera (see above).

But here are a few comments that people have made about ways I have helped them with other issues. Some relate to other of my products, such as the "Newbies Starter Kit" (I've mentioned some of them earlier on this page) and some are comments from my newsletter subscribers whom I've helped.

Let me just remind you of what you will have access to as a Pupil of the School:

The School's Core Curriculum: Over 60 "how to" videos presented by 4 different Tutors. Each video is accompanied by my "Comments", based on my personal experience.

The School's Download Library: Dozens of carefully picked eBooks and software programs, all related to the Core Curriculum.

The School's Resources Library: Links to other extensive tutorials, free software and other useful websites - again, picked because of their relevance to the Core Curriculum.

The Principal's Office: Here you can get one-to-one help, training, guidance and advice from me, personally. This alone is worth more than the enrollment fee.

The School's Exam Room: This is where, if you wish, you can take the School's Examination, based on the Core Curriculum, and, if successful, gain a printable Diploma for a "Pass" or a "Distinction" Grade.

The School's Online Conference Room: This is where live audio-visual online conferences will take place. You will be able to interact directly with myself and with other Pupils

The School's Newsletter: No fluff. No "B.S." - and no selling! Just useful news, help and advice.

Easily Updated Content: The software you use to access the School's resources means that you will have immediate access to new training materials and resources, as they are added, without having to download anything else.

The School is limited to a maximum of 500 Pupils. Beyond this number, I would not be able to give personal support to Pupils. Once this number of enrollments has been reached, I will stop admitting new Pupils until any places become available because of Pupils dropping out of the School.

The Enrolment Fee is a one-off payment.

For the first 250 Pupils the fee is $147
For the final 250 Pupils the fee is $197

Payments are handled securely through ClickBank. You can pay either by credit card or, via Clickbank, from your PayPal account. There are no monthly subscriptions, there's nothing else to pay.

Please note that I am not making any exaggerated claims about what becoming a Pupil at the School is really worth. I will leave you to decide on that. But if you think that it's worth less than $147, may I politely suggest that you re-read this page!

I can understand that. You've probably encountered too many false promises, had too many disappointments.

Now I can't guarantee that becoming a Pupil at the School will give you everything that you want. I have no way of telling the individual requirements of everone who reads this page.

Please remember, once the 500 places at the School have been filled, you will not be allowed to enrol unless places become available at some future time. This is an opportunity that you will need to decide on quickly.
